I used this recipe from Yummy Life but added my own variations.
Basically, all you need is greek yogurt (my favorite is Fage 0% but that's just me), milk (I used skim), some Chia seeds or flax seeds (the first night I used flax and then bought some Chia), and some rolled oats (not the instant kind). Then, add any mix-ins that you like! Apparently mason jars are necessary - I don't know but I had some so that's what I used.
So far, I've tried banana maple (I used one whole banana cut into small pieces and some maple syrup) and strawberry-vanilla (strawberry pieces, vanilla extract, and agave nectar). Both were delicious and filling! I think I'll try banana and peanut butter next!
Once you combine about half of a cup of yogurt, some skim milk, the chia seeds, your oatmeal, and your mix-ins, you just close up the mason jar and shake to mix all the ingredients together. Then, put it in the fridge overnight and when you leave in the morning, grab your breakfast and go! It's that easy!!
